On the authority of the ICF the Czech Canoe Union organize the Sprint Canoe World Cup event in 2009. The competition will be held on May 8th – 10th 2009 at the Račice Regatta Course (Czech Republic) guided by ICF Flatwater Racing Competition Rules – Special rules for the ICF World Cup Competitions. The program of the competition consists of the following disciplines:

Women:

• K-1 500 m, 1000 m
• K-2 500 m, 1000 m
• K-4 500 m

Men:

• K-1 500 m, 1000 m
• K-2 500 m, 1000 m
• K-4 1000 m
• C-1 500 m, 1000 m
• C-2 500 m, 1000 m
• C-4 1000 m

Additional disciplines:

• Women: K1 women 5000m
• Men: K1 men 5000m, C1 men 5000m
