Dear Masters of Kayaking and Canoeing,

At a meeting held in April 2008 in Madrid, The ICF Board of Directors has decided that the ICF Canoe Sprint Masters Competitions will be organized regularly in 2009. Following the ICF approval the first competition will be held in the Czech Republic.

The Czech Canoe Union is pleased to inform you that the 1^st ICF Canoe Sprint

Masters Competition will be held at Regatta Course in Račice Sport Centre on September 5-6^th, 2009 and cordially invites all Masters of Kayaking and Canoeing to take a part.

The Czech Canoe Union does believe that this event will provide unique opportunity to all Masters to demonstrate their sports preparedness at the highest level competition and simultaneously to meet with many sport friends from the entire world.

We do believe you will enjoy the competition and taking a part in it you will help to establish a tradition of annual sport events for older but still active athletes.

Thank you very much for your support and looking forward to welcome the participants from you countries in Racice next year.
